Rebecca currently leads grassroots outreach efforts for client General Motors across the state of Texas and coordinates with the global account team in that capacity. She also manages two of the Hispanic partnerships for the multicultural sector of the U.S. Army account, while also integrating across multiple other platforms and projects for the Army. In her time at Weber Shandwick, Rebecca has also supported external affairs, event management and emergency response communications for the firm’s oil and gas practice.
She is active in several of the firm’s internal initiatives, including the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the Employee Engagement and Change Management team, the Campus Captains Committee and the Weber Shandwick Southwest Marketing team (Army Ambassador).
Rebecca was involved in various leadership positions of PRSSA, including chapter president, at her alma mater, Texas State University. She’s also held numerous board positions in the Public Relations Society of America—Austin chapter, even serving as president in 2012.
