The Volunteer & Intern Group at the
Center for the Study of Latino Media & Markets
The Volunteer/Intern Group at the Center for the Study of Latino Media & Markets is formed with students who are interested in research in mass communication and have joined our team, particularly, to help us make research in the Latino-oriented market. Each volunteer or intern who participates in our center is challenged to implement his or her knowledge in mass communication or public relations. Interns also have the option of recieving course credit as appropriated by their advisor along with acquiring experience they can use in a future career. Each participant has the opportunity to choose his or her service according to their area of expertise, such as radio, television, film editing, art design, writing, among others. The goal of our volunteer group and interns is to meet the needs of the Center, in terms of research and service activities, ensuring people are well-utilized, appreciated and recognized. Volunteers and interns will be kept informed of Center activities through emails and meetings.
