Dara Quackenbush recently received a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas State in 2006.  In 1992 Quackenbush received a BA in Journalism, with an emphasis in advertising and public relations, from the University of Arkansas.  Quackenbush has brought a high quality of professional skill to her public relations campaign classes at Texas State.
 
Some of Quackenbush's professional experience includes her position as a contract Account Supervisor for Blanc & Otus/Hill & Knowlton, a Senior Strategist at VisionEdge Marketing and an Account Exexcutive at Springbok, Cohn & Wolfe.  Quackenbush also serves as Principal of Dara Quackenbush Communications, a marketing communication and public relations company in Austin, TX.
