Minimum Grade Requirements for Graduation
Before graduating from Texas State, students must satisfy the following minimum grade requirements:
1. A Texas State GPA of 2.00
2. A GPA of 2.25 in the major(s)
3. A GPA of 2.00 in the minor(s)

Minimum Hours Requirements for Graduation
128 total hours of which at least 39 must be advanced (2007 catalog and earlier)
120 total hours of which at least 36 must be advanced (2008 catalog and later)

Applying for Graduation
Students must have completed or be currently enrolled in all courses required for graduation and apply for graduation before the posted deadline published on the Texas State Commencement website.

Senior Portfolio
Senior portfolios are due 45 days prior to graduation.  Candidates for summer graduation must turn in their portfolios 45 days prior to spring graduation.
