Brittany Pichler is a graduate instructional assistant at Texas State’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communication and minor in sociology from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in May 2020. While at TAMUSA, she served as the managing editor for the student-run newspaper, The Mesquite. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.

Brittany has nearly a decade of marketing, advertising and journalism experience. Her expertise ranges from digital and print media, website management, news writing and content creation.

Brittany recently completed her master’s certificate in teaching English as a Second Language and completed her alternative teaching certification. She will be moving to Seoul, South Korea, in May 2022 once she graduates to pursue her Ph.D. in English at Yonsei University, where she also has plans to teach the language.

She resides in her native San Antonio with her four-legged friend, Nieko. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going to concerts and music festivals and learning Korean.
